Cate Blanchett wows in Givenchy Couture
Cate Blanchett is always someone you can rely on to choose something standout on the red carpe, especially when it’s a premiere for her own film.
Last night at the UK premiere for Blue Jasmine, she didn’t disappoint in a stunning Givenchy Couture piece.
The Fall 2012 piece features a cold shoulder design with gold embroidered details under the bust of the black gown.
The cape like detail on the arms adds only extra dramatics to the halter-neck piece.
Whilst we imagine she can't have been able to move much in the gown, practicality is hardly on the agenda when it comes to Couture.
Sleek hair and minimal make-up ensured all eyes were on this work of art.
And as always, Cate carries off the gown perfectly.
She's a pro at Couture.
