Blake Lively certainly made an impact for her debut appearance at the Cannes Film Festival, the actress was radiant in her red carpet look.
Wearing a Gucci Premiere gown to the Grace of Monaco premiere and opening ceremony, Blake ensured all eyes were on her.
The burgundy silk-chiffon gown was fully pleated with a geometric neckline, open back, fitted bodice and thigh-high split showing off her gorgeously toned legs and a pair of gold Casadei sandals.
And like always it’s not just the gown that takes our breath away with Blake, she always accessorizes perfectly. Adding an array of rose gold pieces from Lorraine Schwartz, her ruby detailed earrings are to-die-for. She completed the look with a messy high braided ponytail and smouldering eye make-up.
Once again, flawless.
Pleated maxi dresses have certainly proven to be quite a big fashion trend this season too, and whilst we don’t think we’ll be wearing Gucci Premiere anytime soon, thanks to the luxe fabrics and beautiful details these are dresses that will certainly make an impact.
Blake wasn’t the only beauty wearing pleats on the red carpet last night either. Zoe Saldana was radiant in a cream Victoria Beckham gown which featured a full-length pleated skirt.
See, it’s time to get in on the fashion trend too.
