Amy Childs is shunning her Essex roots for her Autumn/Winter 2014 fashion collection and taking a new fashion direction.
Incorporating razor sharp tailoring, staple prints and monochromatic styles, Amy's AW14 range oozes effortless style with dresses perfect for the boardroom and to the evening beyond.
With bold prints, strong lines and mesh detailing, Amy's new collection drifts away from her well known look of lace and bodycon and takes inspiration from the AW14 Catwalks. The fashion forward range also incorporates softer silhouettes influenced by the sixties and winter pastels, both big hits on the runway this year.
Her 20 strong collection is set to roll out over the September month online, yet the designer is yet to pick a favourite: 'I honestly can't pick. This season has been different as I've really embraced the trends and moved away from my comfort zone. I also have more of a diverse range of prices as well as styles - making more affordable pieces starting from £39.99 and styles that suit a range of shapes.'
Autumn marks a busy couple of months for Amy as she is set to celebrate her collection's 3 year birthday and her AW14 Collection which is already developing an online buzz with her first hit of pieces being released on her site.
Amy adds: 'I'm truly blessed - I'm doing what I love every day of the week, 24/7. I get involved with everything - that's probably the reason why my tan took almost 2 years to make - I am too much of a perfectionist I think!' Amy's training and background as a beautician means that anything beauty related undergoes her rigorous inspection - and her fashion is no exception.
Amy is already well known for her business empire, being set above her TOWIE co-stars to become a successful businesswoman with a personal empire and portfolio of businesses that trumped Mark Wright and MIC stars in its net worth in The Sun's Reality TV's Richest List.
Commenting out 'I'm a workaholic really, I always pop into my salon and my boutique and even help in the stockroom. I'm a hands-on boss really and I think people don't expect that.'
Amy's new range has now launched its first capsule collection - with select pieces to whet the appetite of the online shopper. The full range will be released throughout October with a Christmas capsule collection not too far behind.
