Who has let us down in the style stakes this week? Well we're disappointed to report, yet again, that it is two of our very own British stars claiming the unwanted title this week, Gemma Arterton and Hollyoaks star Summer Strallen.
We feel bad picking on Gemma for the dress she choose for the premiere for her new film The Boat That Rocked, because we really like her and, on paper this dress should have been a winning number.
It has the one shoulder detail that refuses to go out of fashion, the turquoise colour that was all over the catwalks and the jewelled detailing should make it that little bit special unfortunately it just didn't work.
The dress made Gemma, who has a great figure, look a little bit on the wide side and the material looks a little bit cheap. Gemma didn't really help her cause though with messy hair and smudged make-up, did you not have time to brush it? But as we've said we do love the girl so we'll forgive her this one mistake!
Also representing us Brit's, unfortunately, was former Hollyoaks' actress Summer Strallen. She may have traded Chester for the West End but at hasn't done her fashion sense any favours.
This layered dress she choose for the gala night of Priscilla Queen Of The Desert The Musical was just too fussy. The layers are uneven, making the outfit look messy and it is probably better suited to a 7 year old girl.
From one extreme to the other, Summer plans to wrap up with a cream shawl that looks like it's been pulled straight off a grandma. Put it down and walk away Summer!
Worse than the dress and the shawl though, what is that on her legs? White tights? White tights! When in God's name did they become an acceptable fashion choice? Never! Maybe we're been harsh though and the girl is just very pale. Well if tats a case she shouldn't be slapping the fake tan on her upper half!
We hadn't seen you for a while Summer but if you continue to dress like this we don't want to see you again!
