Victoria Beckhams high maintenance look is not fitting in well with L.A.
The star has made a series of trips to the States recently to film her reality show and to make last minute arrangements for her familys move to Los Angeles.
However her carefully matched designer outfits and her penchant for 5-inch stilettos is at odds with LAs dress down code.
LA stylist Cliff Hoppus told the Mail:" LA style is all about being low key."
"It's not about showing you have money or class, it's about making the point that you are so comfortable in yourself that you can wear whatever you want. Real LA people know how to dress down."
Blaine Zuckerman, the West Coast editor of Glamour magazine added: "We have no financial district in Los Angeles. Men and women go to work here in the sort of clothes people in other parts of the country wear on Casual Fridays."
"We dress in a way that is a relaxed version of the New York/Paris look. It is more comfortable and suitable to our lifestyle and weather."
