It's the film that everyone has been talking about and today Twilight finally hits UK cinemas, so what can we expect from our young starlets in terms of fashion and style?
Well, the scenery and costumes themselves are pretty plain, but in a good way. It looks as though someone has put a white wash over the characters and the scenes, to add that extra air of mystery and magic to the film and unsurprisingly it works.
Twilight is a magical feast for all ages, but what we really love about this film is that they have done away with all the standard vampire cliches, and don't follow the black cape, slicked back hair and obviously placed fangs look for Edward and his co-stars.
In fact, we haven't found vampires this sexy since the days of Angel and Spike in Buffy the Vampire Slayer. They have really made the vampires blend in with everyday life, which isn't a bad thing at all, in fact it makes them even hotter.
And as it always is with the bad guys, they have the best look. Big scary boots, bad ass leather jackets and scraggly hair, complete with lush facial stubble. Yes bad boy vampire James played by Cam Gigandet certainly looks the part and will probably have the audience hating him and loving him at the same time. Don't you hate it when that happens?
Then there's Edward (Robert Pattinson) who is caught somewhere between looking bad (and gorgeous) and looking like your standard teenage boy. His jeans and T-shirt combination throughout are nice and keep it real, but his messy hair and classic good looks kind of give it away he isn't completely human. Shame!
We're loving bad girl Victoria's style too, who seems to be rocking mad hair and a yeti coat like no other. Like James, her character is conveyed through what she wears, as she sports cuffs with spikes on, netted sleeves and leather gloves giving a clear indication she is up to no good.
And in one scene she's stroking what looks like a torture device, just to make it obvious to those who don't quite get it at first glance.
Lastly, lovely Bella has an almost antique look about her, like she is from Victorian times (like Edward) but has been magically transported to 2008. Her pearl earrings, rings and bracelets fit her delicate character perfectly and add a nice touch, to an otherwise quite dull wardrobe.
