One of our fave films from the last ten years has to be the 80s fashion fest that was The Wedding Singer.

Robbie's hilarious poodle perm, Julia's oh-so cool tea dress and Dr. Martens pairing, and Holly's take on Madonna's Like A Prayer days were all great defining costume moments, which made the movie stand out.

The fact that the 80s are heading back into fashion this summer also helps, as we can adapt looks sported in the film and give them a modern twist.

Considering Robbie and Fonz wannabe Sammy resembled Michael Jackson at times with their fashion sense, we'll focus on the girls instead.

Julia's look for the film was designed to be quite cute and romantic, but at the same time she had a hint of naughtiness about her too. Who could forget her stockings and skirt look she wore for catering?!

We adored her faded denim jacket, candy coloured dresses and hooped earrings, paired with fishnets, clumpy boots and finished off with her signature blue neck choker.

Her style did become a bit more vampy towards the end of the movie however, as she sported more cleavage and figure hugging dresses, not to mention rocking some heavy red lipstick.

Despite Drew sampling a really cute style, we have to say it was Christine Taylor's performance as Holly which stole the show, fashion wise.

Rocking Madonna's 80s style to a tee, Holly was an almost exact replica, sporting multiple chains and crosses, fishnet gloves and cut off T-shirts and hotpants.

Considering headscarves are set to be big news this summer, after we spotted them at the Topshop Unique show, using Holly as your style inspiration may not be a bad idea, as she rocked scarves in a variety of different colours throughout the film.

We loved her lace leggings and flirty skater skirts too, but we have to admit, we weren't mad keen on her fluffy poodle hair in the film, so if you do decide to copy her style, maybe leave the curling irons out of it!
