The girls never disappoint and it seems that this has been a great chance for them to get out at the awards shows, namely the MTV movie awards over the weekend, and show off what they have to their much adoring (if not a little jealous) fans. What makes both Blake and Leighton look fabulous is how different they both look. We can rely on Miss Lively for a sleek, chic appearance, usally with the hair scraped back and a sexy if not predictable slit up the leg of an expensive floor length gown. Miss Meester on the other hand brings us varied patterns and shapes and can be seen on the red carpet, as she was on Sunday in a sparkling dress to end all sparkle and still pull it off. Both girls are also loved for their impeccable skin. Not only is it flawless, but it has an incredible glow. Instead of envious at this point, book yourself a holiday and top up that tan or else find yourself a good bronzer to get that healthy shimmer. We may not be A-Listers but we can be just as creative.
This is one of the best dresses we have seen Leighton wear in a long time. Everything about it suits her: The colour, the style the design...its classy but with the edgy sparkle and the shortness it screams red carpet success.
Very few can do a plungin neck line than Blake. Her figure is perfect for these floor length ball gown, particularly when she accentuates parts of her body she wants to show off. This red number is everything that is right with fashion and gets an all round thumbs up from us here at FemaleFirst!
Againt the printed dress is a favourite of Leightons. This one shoulder dress looks fab and it is unlikely we would see our lively starlet in something similar.
The ruffles, the material, the cut it's all georgeous and helps Leighton nip in front of Blake at this point.
This black gown worn by Blake for a gala event is sheer class. The sleek shaping to the top near the bust is classy, showing enough flesh without taking away from the elegance of her dress. The detail at the bottom is stunning.
Ok....We give in...you both win!
