Just a few weeks ago Michelle Obama was the new Queen of fashion after her great style shone through at Husband Barrack's inauguration ceremony but now she has fallen out of favour with fashion critics, all because of her arms.
In her first official White House photograph Michelle wore a navy sleeveless dress but the outfit has been criticised for been too informal and out of season, the Mail reports.
The outfit has even sparked complaints to a newspaper in Michelle's hometown of Chicago. Chicago Tribune fashion reporter Wendy Donahue told the Mail: "One reader summed it up better than most of them. She talked about how the season is winter, the occasion was business and a sleeveless dress was the wrong style at the wrong time."
She added: "Most of the complaints centred on the dress conveying a sense of informality on a serious occasion."
White House reporter Malika Henderson defended Michelle though, pointing out that her clothes are a reflection of herself. She said: "Her kind of philosophy of fashion is that women should wear what they are comfortable in."
Writing to a newspaper to complain about the First Lady's dress!? We've never heard anything so ridiculous! Michelle, as always, looks great and if we had toned arms like that we'd be showing them off every chance we got!
