Mel B at the MOBO's
Mel B, Alesha Dixon, Estelle and the Sugababes were among the celebs who attended last night's MOBO awards in London.
The annual event always attracts a great range of celebrities and musicians as they come together to celebrate Music Of Black Origin. The big winners of the night were Leona Lewis and Estelle, who both claimed two gongs each.
Although Estelle turned up to collect her gongs in person, Leona Lewis was booed for not attending, and when Mel B tried to rescue the situation and get the crowd not to boo, they booed even more!
Ooo, Scandal! With so much going on, we thought we'd take a closer look at the fashion, to see who got it right and to see who got it spectacularly wrong.
Mel B
Oh dear god, what is Mel wearing? That was our first thought when we saw this picture, the second was, what is that on top of her head? It turns out that it's her hair, piled very high and looking as though it may topple onto her face any moment.
The former Spice Girl was practically bursting out of her Grace Jones-style dress last night, completing her look with some cheap looking silver shoes. We're assuming the dress was made in homage to the Bond girl, as her outfit is very similar to the one in the Bond film, A View To Kill. We're not mad keen on the satin fabric or baby pink colour either Mel, but full marks for showing off your incredible figure and unbelievably cleavage in this horrendous dress.
Alesha Dixon
She looks oh-so glamorous in this stunning dress, which compliments her figure perfectly. The Grecian style is also bang on trend and the gorgeous olive colour is set to be a hot colour for next year. Not many people can work the wet-look either, so Alesha gets extra brownie points for making this style look wearable. The ex- Strictly Come Dancing star was rumoured to be worried about figure, since her promotion for her new album, The Alesha Show started- but judging by these pictures, we think she looks just fine.
Sugababes
The trio broke all the rules last night and showed up in, shock horror, differing outfits. They weren't all coloured coordinated or anything! That's what we like about the Sugababes, they always like to be a bit different and quirky, so we've decided to judge them on their individual outfits.
Keisha: Gold luxe is difficult to pull off, and we're not entirely sure that Keisha manages it. We think this would of looked better as a longer dress, but we're loving the gladiator style sandals and feather earrings!
Ameile: It's well coordinated, but a little bit too simple for us. We'd of loved to have seen this cute black dress jazzed up with some bright courts or a funky belt.
Heidi: She is rocking the 60s look to perfection here and it's hard to fault her style at all. Our only concern for poor Heidi is that she looks uncomfortable here, as though her dress a bit too tight with the waist-belt.
