Nicole Kidman has revealed that she only takes five minutes to get ready to go out.
"I'm not particularly vain, I get ready in five minutes," she told Metro.
"I'm not always looking in the mirror but I like to be healthy. I want to be able to run and walk and hike. I love being outdoors."
The star of Australia has also revealed that her fair looks made her a bit of an outcast when she was growing up.
"I was always on the outside, on the periphery of things, maybe because I was so fair-skinned," she muses.
"I wanted to be the surfer chick, the sporty girl down on the beach, but I was the bookish one. My mother would keep me inside and I'd read novels."
