Keira Knightley has a fondess for beautiful, ethereal gowns with exquisite detail, so it’s no wonder she has a love for the Valentino designs.
With the release of Anna Karenina today, we take a look through her best Valentino looks within the past couple of years.
At the LA Film Festival premiere for Seeking A Friend For The End Of The World in June she chose a beautiful Fall 2012 dress.
The taupe tulle gown featured beautiful colourful floral details. To complement the gown she wore a red lead hair accessory in her updo, giving the look an ancient Grecian vibe.
All she needed was a soft brown smoky eye, nude patent pumps and her diamond engagement ring to finish the look.
Valentino isn’t just saved for special red carpet events either, at an appearance on the show Late Night with Jimmy Fallon in June she went for another Valentino Fall 2012 dress.
She chose a black dress with gold shimmering embroidered details and sheer sleeves.
The actress styled the look with a simple bun, glossy lips and black patent pumps – who needs anything else when you’re wearing Valentino.
During the 2011 Venice Film Festival, Keira was there for the premiere of A Dangerous Method.
She chose a Valentino Fall 2011 Couture long-sleeved gown.
The brunette beauty went for a complete ethereal, natural look with the gown shunning the addition of jewellery or a clutch.
A simple updo and pink lips completed this look.
In May 2011 she was also on the show Late Night With Jimmy Fallon, this time promoting the film Last Night. She chose another Fall 2011 look, the dress was shortened for the occasion, with feather print on the silk dress. I love the floral appliqué neckline – she always manages to carry off such beautiful looks, even for a TV appearance.
And finally, a look from 2010 – which has to be one of my favourite-ever Keira Knightley dresses.
At the 2010 Rome Film Festival opening ceremony she chose a mocha tulle gown from the Spring 2011 collection.
The dress is a dream, and Keira looks like an angel.
Perfect from her nude studded ankle strap heels, all the way to her natural waves.
