Kate Winslet at the Oscars
We loved Kate Winslet's Oscar dress on Sunday but it seems Kate's daughter Mia was not a fan of the YSL creation, Heatworld reports.
Kate has spoken previously on how the eight year old gives her fashion advice and has asked her to wear less black. Now it seems she is not a fan of grey either.
Kate called Mia from backstage after collecting the award and asked her if she'd been excited about the win. Kate explained: "Mia says: 'Yes, I did, Mum’. I did, but I need to talk to you about the dress - it was grey.' She was absolutely mortified I wore a grey dress."
While Mia might not have been a fan of the dress Kate was glad she picked it. She said: "I think in this time in the economy, it's just not nice to have people make lots of dresses and you just wear one out of a possible five.
"So Yves St Laurent very kindly said, 'We'd like to make something for you,' and that was what we did."
