A Topshop dress from the new Kate Moss collection has sold for £2 in a charity shop.

The £60 dress was bought in an Oxfam shop by mother of two Wendy Ryan, less than a month after the range launched in the high street store.

Wendy told the Metro:"‘I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw it for sale for £2 in the charity shop. It's an absolute bargain."

Hundreds of shoppers queued for hours to get their hands on the supermodel’s debut collection.

While Topshop reported that sales of the line had exceeded their expectations, sales on internet auction site eBay have proved slow.

A spokesperson for Topshop said it was delighted people were not profiting, adding: "The range was intended to be affordable and available for everyone."
