When Kate Moss launched her debut collection for Topshop there was mayhem as shoppers queued to snap up her range.

However after all the media hype, more than 2000 items from the fashion line have still not sold on internet auction site eBay.

Jane Marshall, who makes a living from buying and selling clothes on eBay, told the London Metro: 'The demand for Kate Moss's fashion range has been very flat"

"From the volume of items on offer, it looks like a lot of people thought it would sell well and they would make a lot of money. But that hasn't happened."

However it seams that the style icon has not lost her Midas touch. When her collection launched in the states last week the entire collection sold out on the east coast within days.

The Sunday Times also reported that Topshop boss Philip Green is preparing to spend £50m on sites for three new stores in New York following the success of Moss’s range which debuted in Barney’s department store.
