Longchamp unveiled its new Legend bag and revealed Kate Moss helped with the finishing touches.
Moss is the face of the French fashion house and has modelled their luxurious bags for the last three seasons.
According to the company she fell in love with the new bag when she shot the spring summer 2007 campaign in New York. Although the black patent tote was still a prototype, Longchamp asked the style icon for her advice on the ideal handbag.
A spokesperson for the company told vogue:" She immediately suggested a red lining to contrast with the black leather and the end result is the Legend."
Artistic director Sophie de la Fontaine's brainchildren then choose a medical theme to finish the design.
"She found an original doctor's bag and thought it would be great to work with and transform into a stylish handbag. Sophie kept it in archive for a few years and used it for reference to make the Legend."
