Kanye West friends with Christopher Kane- who knew?
Now there's a headline we never ever thought we'd see, but since we've been forced to accept Kanye is all serious about this fashion lark, it actually makes sense that he would heap praise on the Scottish designer.
Apparently, according to Grazia, Kanye is a big fan of Christopher Kane and even called him personally three years ago to congratulate him on one of his early shows. Yes, really!
We can't quite imagine how that conversation went, but since then it appears there may be a budding fashion friendship forming, with Kanye admitting he's always wanted to come to one of Kane's shows.
Well, he finally got his wish this season, as after much musical clashes, the rapper-turned-fashion-designer turned up at London Fashion Week in February to mark his FROW territory.
And Kane's response? "Actually, it was a total surprise when he turned up at the show in February, as I had no idea he was coming," Christopher told Grazia. "He is a really nice guy."
As if we weren't surprised enough by that little outburst, it turns out that the two also had plans to meet in Paris, but unfortunately scheduling conflicts prevented the pair meeting up for a little chat.
This is the oddest fashion friendship we've heard in a while, it almost comes close to matching that of Dame Vivienne and the lovely Pamela Anderson. Almost, that is because lets face it, no-one could topple that odd pairing.
