Jessica Chastain has not only left us in awe with acting skills she’s wowed us with her dress choices on the red carpet too.
Her latest film, Lawless, hits UK cinemas on September 7, and to celebrate we have taken a look through some of her most memorable fashion choices this year.
With seven films released in 2011, and Oscar nominations for The Help she has been spotted plenty on the red carpet, especially during awards season – so choosing her best looks has most definitely proved harder than first thought.
At this year's Oscars she chose this beautiful (right) Alexander McQueen gown, which was custom-made for the actress.
The beautiful gold embroidery on the black gown makes it look very regal and ornate, without drowning her in fabric.
She chose another Alexander McQueen gown for the opening ceremony in Cannes too.
This time opting for a very simple pale pink gown, with a daring low cut neckline. She kept the whole look minimalistic and it completely worked.
The red-haired beauty is obviously a fan of the British brand as she also chose McQueen for the Elle Style Awards.
I love this ensemble which was made up of a black fluted skirt from the Pre-Fall 2012 collection, and a sleeveless gold peplum top with a lace overlay from the Spring 2012 collection.
She pulled the look together with a leather harness beld and teamed it with laser-cut black peep-toes, both by Alexander McQueen.
One of my favourite ever looks from the actress was during awards season when she stepped out in a green Elie Saab gown.
She attended the 40th anniversary of Charlie Chaplin’s honorary Academy Award at the Chateau Marmont and she compltely floored me in her Kelly Spring 2012 gown.
Red hair with green gowns will never fail to impress me.
At the SAG Award she opted for a blue Calvin Klein Collection dress. It was the addition of the Harry Winston jewels that made this dress standout though.
The final look from this year has to go to her Gucci Premiere gown (right) she wore to the Lawless premiere in Cannes.
The nude chiffon gown sparkled under the flash of bulbs, thanks to the gold embellishments which started at the bust and fell down the dress.
She went for a very etheral beauty look, with tousled hair clipped back, which was accented with a Chopard white diamond cluster.
Beautiful.
