There were only three black dresses on the red carpet at the Critics' Choice Movie Awards, Jennifer Lawrence, Naomi Watts and Jamie King and they all proved that black doesn't have to be boring.
Jennifer Lawrence opted for a stunning Prabal Gurung Pre-Fall 2013 gown.
This dress highlights her figure perfectly, nipping in at the waist with the silver buckle. I love the sheer train, a beautiful gown for a beautiful girl.
It was particularly nice to see how excited the designer was that she was wearing one of his pieces, as he took to Instagram to show his delight.
She paired the look with Chopard jewels, Jimmy Choo sandals and a crystal clutch. A side-swept bun and pink lip completed the look.
Naomi Watts looked beautiful once again on the red carpet.
The Emilio Pucci gown was ultra sexy with the strapless gown and a sheer v-neckline.
The addition of the green drop earrings add the perfect amount of colour to this look. A kohl-rimmed eye and an Edie Parker silver-and-black clutch completed the look.
Finally, Jamie King made her way down the red carpet in a Jason Wu strappy gown.
The Pre-Fall 2013 gown is uber sexy with a plunging neckline, centre split and strappy back and cut-out detailing. The look was pulled together with a leather belt with gold link accents.
Old Hollywood curls swept to one side and a bold lip colour completed the look.
Jamie was posting pictures on Instagram last night and pointed out that Jamie and Jason = Jerry Hall, and she does in fact look like the super model.
Jamie style choices never fail to impress me.
