Courtney Love has blasted a new Doc Martens advertising campaign.
The singer is furious that the brand has shown her late husband Kurt Cobain wearing the shoes in heaven.
The advert shows the iconic Nirvana front man sitting on a cloud with the tagline Dr Martens. Forever.
Although it is not illegal to use his image in the UK, Love is keen to emphasise that she did not give her permission for the advert.
Her spokesperson told the Sun:" She thinks its outrageous a company is allowed to commercially gain from such a despicable use of her husbands picture."
"It appears that in the UK what Dr Martens has done is allowed. Courtney did not, and would not, approve of such a use of Kurts name and likeness."
