Claudia Schiffer has created every woman's fantasy a walk in wardrobe in a helicopter hanger.
The Daily Mail reveals that Claudia has had to go one step further than a walk in wardrobe, converting the warehouse beside her home in Suffolk to store all her clothes. The hanger is even climate controlled to preserve the fabrics and has different wardrobes for pieces by different designers.
The wardrobe came as a result of Claudia's husband Matthew Vaughn who urged her to have a clear out but Claudia wants to pass the clothes from her career on to her four year old daughter Clementine. She said: "I’ve kept all my clothes. I have a hangar that is normally made for helicopters and I’ve got all my clothes in there.
"The heli-hangar was Matthew’s idea. I have so many closets of Chanel in there, it’s like a Chanel boutique."
The collection, which has been insured for million, includes Claudia's first Chanel suit, several rails of Azzedine Alaia bandage dresses, Valentino couture and the Italian-lace wedding dress given to her by Valentino for the couples wedding.
A source told the paper: "It’s just like an Aladdin’s cave. It’s an extraordinary collection of clothes and there are some fantastic items in there. There are things she’s bought and things she’s been given.
"It’s not all colour-coded or arranged like a big archive. Some people expect it to be like a high-class boutique inside and it’s not really like that at all."
We'd love a sneak peek in there Claudia if you ever consider doing tours!
