Cate Blanchett is always a delight to see on the red carpet because you know you're going to be drooling over her sartorial choices.
Thanks to the release of The Hobbit last week Cate has been on a promotional tour of the film and as expected it was a stylish one at that.
First up was the Dubai International Film Festival, here she chose a stunning Rodarte Spring 2013 gown.
The blue/grey short-sleeved silk gown with the rust-coloured panels on the waist features a floaty chiffon skirt.
Simple make-up, a silver watch, stud earrings and Jimmy Choo heels completed this beautiful look.
Still in Dubai, the next evening she stepped out in a Peter Pilotto Spring 2013 look.
She wore a print, embroidered and beaded crew-neck top with peplum waist and kept the rest of the look simple, pairing the top with a simple black pencil skirt.
Black and gold beaded sandals, a black clutch and a black watch provided the finishin touches. And she wore her hair and make-up both simple once again.
And to finish off the week was the London premiere of The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
The Australian actress chose a white Givenchy Spring 2013 gown.
The long-sleeve dress features a side slit, high neck with gold metal accents on both shoulders and inside the cuffs. But what made the look stand out was the open back.
She paired the look with a white Givenchy envelope clutch and Givenchy heels.
An amazing week from the actress.
