Britney Spears' Circus Style

Britney Spears' Circus Style

Britney Spears' style is the look of the moment, with everyone clamouring the get the sexy star's circus style, following her appearance on last Saturday's X Factor show.

Despite her horrific attempt at miming, Britney brought the house down with her ringmaster style, giving eager fans a taste of things to come on her upcoming world tour.

According to sources, Brit's tour will comprise of three parts; her running away from home to join the circus, her experiences while at the circus and finally her return home.

All of this will of course be overshadowed by her spectacular style of vintage circus glamour, and we're already totally in love with her tightrope outfit, which consists of a stripy corset, lace skirt and top hat.

The pop princess looked stunning with a trim and toned body, which was perfect to showcase this season's hottest trend; circus. The high-street have been going all out for the party season, combining glitz, glamour and sequins with the fantasy element of the Circus.

Britney's homage to Madonna's tour outfit of fishnet tights, hot pants and a top hat scored highly on our style radar when she appeared in Germany last week, and her similar look for X Factor left us very impressed indeed.

It's a look which we'll all want to replicate this season, minus the top hat of course, so here's our style tips on how to recreate Britney's fabulous carnival fashion...

Tightrope Chic

We've picked a simple stripy top from Dorothy Perkins and teamed it with a netter skirt from Topshop, to recreate Britney's look in her new Circus promo. To complete the look we've found some stunning shoe boots from Faith and added a necklace not entirely dissimilar to the one worn by Britney herself.
