A shocking 66% of British women feel pressure from the media to be thin and more than one in two saying that weighing less would improve the quality of their lives according to a new survey.
39% of the women said that they feel the media pressures them to always have sex appeal, with 35% stating that they feel pressure to be well dressed according to the poll by Diva Tv.
One in three of us feel pressure from the media to be rich with 13% reporting that cosmetic surgery would improve the quality of their lives. Maya Bhose, spokeswoman for Diva TV says: âWe carried out this study into the women of Britain to understand the aspirations, regrets and pressures that women feel today to help us shape our programming."
