Save: Care Tea Tree Oil Cream
Tea tree oil is a great natural antiseptic and is great for any kind of skin care, used in many products to improve the skin. For a spot cream it certainly works but maybe not as well as something that has been formulated specifically for the removal of stubborn spots. It’s got a lovely texture and skins into the skin really nicely. Tea tree oil always has a lovely smell and this cream didn’t disappoint, smelling really fresh. It did bring down the redness of the spots and made the swelling reduce but it didn’t perform miracles and it took a good few days the spots to start to disappear. You can get this tea tree oil cream from independent pharmacies throughout the country and it’s a bargain at £2.26
Splurge: Avène TriAcnéal
This product combines ingredients to help with acne prone skin as well as spring water to rejuvenate the skin. It works fantastically as it is specifically designed to target acne and help with the appearance of the skin afterwards. Apply the cream after you’ve cleansed in the evening and by the morning you’ll see a massive improvement. Spots that were there the night before have reduced massively by the morning and are nearly gone – by the day after there’s little left of it and by the third day you’ll have never even known it was there. It’s pricey at £23.00 but it’s definitely something I’ll be keeping in my beauty regime for years to come.
