With Christmas only a week a way, we're sure you're all busy buying your last minute Christmas presents and picking out your outfits for the festive season, but what about your beauty looks?
We've covered most things in the run up to Christmas, including party outfits for every shape, hair and beauty looks for that office party and even looked at detoxing your body, so you can feel fresh and relaxed for the 25th.
Well, just to add to that, we thought we'd bring you some catwalk inspired beauty looks for your eyes this party season. Yes, that's right, forget making your lips the focal point, as this year...the eyes have it.
Gothic Chic: This needs no introduction now, as you are all aware of how big this look is in both the world of fashion and beauty. Firstly coat your lashes with at least five layers of volumising mascara so your eyes look really wide and awake.
Next line the inner and top lids of your eyes with a black eyeliner, finishing the look with some grey and black eyeshadow, blended in from your inner socket outwards. With so much going on with your eyes, keep your lips really simple with just a touch of pale pink lipstick and cheek blush.
Peacock: This is the ideal way to get some crazy colour into your party look and blue and green together is a hot combo right now. Green looks great on the top lids of eyes, while electric blue looks best when coated under the lower lash line.
This is a bold look, so it doesn't require heavy lips and cheek make-up with it, and the same applies to the rest of your eye make-up; just one coat of nearly black mascara will do the job nicely.
Feline Flicks: This is the one and only time where you can use Amy Winehouse as your beauty inspiration. Invest in a really good quality liquid eyeliner and get flicking, coating your top lid first and then following it down to your lower lid.
Now, you can make the line as thick or as thin as you like, as it's the flick we're really interested in. Follow the natural curve of your lashes and stroke upwards, topping off the look with lashings of black mascara to complete the look.
Winter Frosting: This one is really festive, and probably the only time you'll be able to get away with coating your eyes in white mascara too. Firstly coat your eyelashes in some lengthening mascara, as you are going for length over volume with this look and then add some silver sparkle to your eyes with a silver mascara wand.
You may need a few layers for it to really show up and make an impact, but once you have achieved the look, top up with a line of silver eyeliner on your upper and lower lids.
