We love nail art, so when the news of textured velvet nails made its way to us we knew it would be something we would have to try.
Whilst we may love having fancy nails, spending a lot of time doing them isn’t really an option, that’s why this velvet manicure is a perfect quick and easy option.
Once you’ve selected which colour velvet fibres you’re going to use all you have to do is find and paint your nails a similar colour.
I used the OPI Nicki Minaj collection baby pink as the base colour.
All that you need to do then is one-by-one paint your nails with a clear top coat and after each individual one dip your nail into the bag of fibres.
Let them all dry and once they are just blow away the excess fibres.
There you have it a quick and easy textured nail design.
I would advise that if you’re doing these for an occasion then do them just a few hours before as the fibres obviously wear away a little.
Available in 5 gram pots in 12 different colours. Price per pot £4.95
