Marilyn Monroe, Jennifer Aniston and Rihanna are among the celebrities named as having the most iconic hairstyles of the last 60 years.
We've seen plenty of hairstyles, and we're not just talking Rihanna's ever-changing styles, over the years. But these people's will forever be remembered.
Among them are headline grabbers like Miley Cyrus, Kim Kardashian and Beyonce to trendsetters including Mary Quant, Kate Moss and Victoria Beckham.
One respondent said: “Marilyn Monroe and Jennifer Aniston have to be up there as having the most iconic hair of all time. I remember having my hair cut into a Rachel when Friends was massive mid 90s. I loved that look.”
It's safe to say that a lot of people did too.
The Royal family makes an appearance with the Queen, Kate Middleton and Diana, Princess of Wales all coming in the top 50.
A third added; “Princess Diana has one of the more recognizable hair styles of all time – her hair always looked amazing. Kate Middleton seems to be following in her footsteps. She always looks great.”
Francesca Davies from Fabriah.com, who conducted the research, says: “There are some great hairstyles in our fifty most iconic list. Who can forget Mary Quant’s bob, Farah Fawcett’s flick and of course, Mrs Thatcher’s power perm.
“It’s good to see current stars and trend setters making the list. They’re real style chameleons – changing their look and their hair to stay bang on trend.”
