Kimberly Wyatt is a very busy, pregnant with her first child and she's just launched a brand new beautiful fragrance we're sure is going to be a big hit.
Kimberly Wyatt tells us about her new fragrance
We spoke to Kimberly exclusively about her foray into the beauty industry, her beauty must-haves and the one product she couldn't live without.
Tell us a little bit about your new fragrance?
Its name (Kaydance) comes from my middle name, which is Kaye amalgamated with my favourite art form, dance. It's a really fresh and feminine fragrance, perfect to take any women to centre stage and feel confident.
What was the inspiration behind the scent?
The scent has taken months to perfect! I love the lightness of citrusy scents so the mandarin and orange comes out really well, but it stays soft and sultry, with a mix of amber and vanilla. I love berries and rose, so they bring a pretty feminine touch to the perfume.
Did you have much say in the bottle design?
Yes; I always imagined my fragrance would have a gorgeous teal colour bottle and box packaging. I love the turquoise with the gold; it's much more me than a pink bottle would be. The rounded sea shell shape is really unique and would stand out in any girls' boudoir!
Perfumes are great for remembering significant points in your life, are there any scents which you attribute to high points in your life/career?
When Max and I got married, I had roses everywhere, so the subtle rose smell in Kaydance will always remind me of that special day.
What makes your perfume different to the others out there?
Kaydance isn't sweet in the way that many perfumes can be; it's subtle and grown up and any woman who wears it will feel confident and alive all day long. It's bright enough to be worn in the day time, yet worn behind the ear and it smells sultry and gorgeous, perfect for the evening.
What else will we find in your beauty bag?
I always have Rodial Glambalm Cleanser and Smiths Rosebud lip balm. They keep my look fresh and feeling ready to take anything on. It's especially important while I'm pregnant to be able to use natural products which work and make me feel my best.
Is there one product you couldn't live without?
That would be my Beautiful Movements cosmetics nude lip balm. Even without a full face of make-up, I can slick on some nude lip gloss and I will straightaway look more polished.
What's your go-to beauty look for a glam night out?
I love a bold red lip. It looks really dramatic with some sixties style flicky black eye liner.
Any beauty tips you've learnt over the years?
I mix a little bit of my favourite fragrance, Kaydance, in with my body moisturiser after I have had a shower, and then my whole body smells gorgeous all day!
