Waist-clinchers, control slips and bodysuits are also seeing a rise in sales this time of year, as women clamour to get the perfect shape.

Spanx for example are the market leader in this type of underwear, and with good reason too as they were the pioneers in these fabulous new range of tummy control pants.
Gok Wan showcases these pants on his 'How to look good Naked' show each week, and women seem genuinely surprised and delighted by the results. Trinny and Susannah have also launched their own version of the magic knickers to help women experience instant inch loss.
Control pants may once have been mocked and labelled as frumpy, but as more women turn to loosing inches instantly, we think they will fast become a wardrobe staple for every women out there.
