Regular root touch-ups and a fresh new colour on our hair can definitely add up, but have you ever really thought about just how much?
A new survey has revealed that the average woman will spend £228.50 each year getting their hair colour.
Not only that, but it also revealed that their first hair colouring will take place at 22, so that’s a total of £9,825 spent between the age of 22 and 65.
“The hair and beauty industry continues to boom and it is amazing to see that hair colour is a £10,000 investment over a lifetime,” says nice’n easy Colour Advisor, Jonathan Long.
“Looking good, however, goes hand in hand with feeling good, so it’s no wonder women look after their locks.”
Those who visit the salon to have their hair coloured spend an average £179.10 a year, whilst those who colour their hair at home only spend £49.40, according to the research from nice’n easy No Ammonia range.
