GHD's Tv that use religion to sell hair straighteners have been banned by the Advertising Standards Authority for causing offence.
The adverts which used extracts of the Lord's Prayer to show how sought after the brand of hair products caused outrage among Christians.
Scenes showing a model clad in lingerie while holding rosary beads alongside the text 'May my new curls make her feel choked with jealousy'received 23 complaints including an official complaint from The Archdeacon of Liverpool.
GHD has used the 'thy will be done' slogan for the last seven years, but the ASA deemed that the latest adverts had gone too far.
The adverts have now been banned by the ASA for causing serious offence to Christians.
