Katie Holmes' latest fashion collection was showcased during New York Fashion week and we love the textured hairstyles.
The beautiful soft draping and lines of the clothing were toughned up with a rough texture of the hair.
John Barrett for Alterna Haircare created the looks, he said:

Here's John's tips on how you can get the hairstyle:
Tousled texture with loose face-framing strands, evoke your adventurous nature.
Prep hair with Alterna Haircare Caviar CC Cream by applying a quarter size amount throughout sections of the hair
Follow with Bamboo Style Cleanse Extend Translucent Dry Shampoo by spraying a liberal amount throughout the scalp. Use this technique to add texture to the hair and create a starting base.
For extra wavy texture, spray Bamboo Style Boho Waves Spray from the mid-section of hair towards the ends
Next, for an extra lift at the roots, spray Bamboo Uplifting Root Blast while sectioning hair and using a blow dryer aiming towards the scalp to hold the lift. Then, wrap one inch sections around 1.5” curling iron and hold for 15 seconds
When done curling the entire head, shake up the curls using fingers. The messier the better. Scrunch with the wave spray again for extra texture.
Push hair to a deep side part, then start French braiding hair from the nape of neck twisting and adding sections to the braid until reaching the opposite ear and secure with a clear elastic. Twist and tuck the braid underneath by pinning into place with bobby pins.
For a piecier look, pull out a few strands near the face and finish with the Bamboo Smooth Kendi Dry Oil Micromist for a boost of shine.
