London Fashion Week may have passed by in a blur, and in all honesty we’re still trying to wrap our head around it all, here we have the beauty look from the SS14 Kristian Aadnevik show.
And of course we have the tips and products on how to recreate it at home.
The look for the show, devised by freelance celeb MUA Maria Asadi, combined bronzed eyes, subtle contouring and natural lips.
She used Shadowglow, from Frontcover Cosmetics, a new product launching in February 2014 – it’s a clear liquid that mixes with eyeshadow to give a glossy finish, which stays glossy when it dries. Traditionally make-up artists have used lip gloss to get that shiny look but it can ruin the make-up underneath; with Shadowglow the eyeshadow remains blendable.
To recreate the look:
1. Sweep Daystar across the entire lid and then strengthen with Date Juice, blending into the socket line.
2. Take Date Juice underneath the lower lashes.
3. Apply Fireball in the centre of the eyelid. This will pick up the light perfectly making the colour look multi-dimensional. Wetting the brush first with Shadowglow gives even more of a glossy finish.
4. Add Shimmering Light into the inner corner of the eyes and the tear ducts to open up the eye.
5. Line the inner rim of the eye with Black Kohl for added drama and apply Buildable Mascara to finish.
The key products from the LFW look will be brought together in a limited edition set designed by Kristian Aadnevik himself, launching in spring 2014. Meanwhile, the new A/W collection launches on Friday September 20.
