Penelope Cruz, Keira Knightley and Katy Perry have all been pictured with full fringes recently, sparking a new hair trend.
As we head into spring, it's natural to update your look and going for a new fringe is a great way to do this, without changing your signature style too much.
It's also less pricey than opting for a new colour or less scary than opting for a hot crop, like the ones sported by Kimberley Stewart and Sarah Harding recently.
Keira unveiled her new look at the Chanel couture show in Paris last month, and was quickly followed by Katy Perry who rocked a shoulder length bob and full fringe a few weeks later.
While Keira's suits her no end and really frames her long face, Katy's just makes her face look more round and is an unflattering look for the gorgeous singer.
Either she should sweep it to the side into a more manageable fringe, or clip it back until it grows out. She could also opt for some hair extensions to make it more stylish, like our very own Lily Allen, whose fringe looks best when teamed with long glossy locks.
Penelope however, may be onto the best option of all; a clip-in fringe. Cheap, fun and easy to work into your hair, this is a great way to change your look for one night, without having to make a trip to the hairdressers.
She wowed on the red carpet at the BAFTAs earlier this month, as fashionistas proclaimed her new hairstyle as 'stunning' and 'fresh', only to be told the next day that it was a clip-in.
If you aren't sure a full fringe would suit you then invest in a clip-in one, so you can style it different ways and experiment, without committing to a new look altogether.
