After all your over indulgences the past few weeks at those office Christmas parties, we bet you're feeling a tiny bit weak and sluggish, not to mention exhausted at the minute.

Well, don't panic because FemaleFirst is on hand to get you back to your best, with the help of some festive detox plans and helpful hints on feeling great this Christmas.

So far this week we've looked at cutting out alcohol, dairy, and wheat from your diet, while at the same time upping your intake of fruit and veg, by whatever means possible.

Today, we'll be looking at the last thing to ditch, whilst on your detox; caffeine. To some, this is probably a lot worse than cutting back on alcohol, as generally caffeine gets you through the long working day.

However, just doing without it for a week will really help you with this festive detox, so swap your morning coffee for orange juice and your mid-morning cuppa for a bottle of water.

Water is your best tool when detoxing, as it fills you up, so you don't snack as much and it perks you up too, just as much if not more than a cup of coffee can.

Green or white tea is also a good option, as these are caffine free and filled with added goodness that can help aid digestion and limit that bloated feeling in your tummy.

If you're a fan of Coke, then this is also banned while you're on the detox, however those savvy people at Coca Cola have made a caffine free version, so that is allowed- hurrah!
