There are few things worse than not having your favourite make-up brand available to you when you want it. Sure, the internet is a wonderful place, but it's impossible to test foundations against your skin or the potential of new lipsticks when you order online. No wonder Fenty fans are celebrating hard today.
Rihanna's popular beauty line is finally coming to a Boots near you, and fans are thrilled to tears. It has been available from Harvey Nichols for a while, but for those who don't live near one of the high-end department stores, they've had to put up with the travel expenses or extortionate delivery charges that come with shopping for their Fenty fix.
No longer will you have to trek to Harvey Nicks, however, as Fenty Beauty has finally teamed up with the UK's most popular chemist/beauty store chain Boots, with the brand hitting shelves by May 10, 2019. It's probably not a big deal if your local big Boots is a stone's throw away from Harvey Nichols, but as there are only seven stores in the UK (in Knightsbridge, Bristol, Manchester, Edinburgh, Birmingham, Leeds and Liverpoool) the majority of the country have not had an easy time of it when it comes to getting hold of their favourite foundation.
Plus, there are considerable benefits to shopping for Fenty at Boots; as prices are on the mid to high-end scale, that means loads of Boots points. And loads of Boots points means even more make-up shopping.
It might not sound like such an important thing to the non-make-up wearers out there, but as the brand represents inclusivity of all skin tones more so than most, the fact that it's become even more available than ever is a huge step towards putting diversity first in a white-washed beauty industry.
