British women care least about what men think of their appearance according to a new study.
Women in the UK polled the lowest globally when asked if its important for men to like their looks.
Appealing to men is far more important to women in Russia who admitted that it was very important for men to like their looks (77%).
With the spotlight on the UK, only 51% of women are concerned if men approve of their outward appearance.
Women in the South-West ranked the highest with 67% and Welsh women followed with 58% that are bothered about how men view them. Nearly two thirds of Scottish women appear not to be concerned by what men think about their looks.
So this leaves us to ask the question….who do we make ourselves look good for? Our friends, ourselves or simply to make us feel good?
