Ellie Goulding has admitted her biggest fashion regret is having half her head shaved.
The 'Burn' hitmaker sported a shaved section on the left hand side of her head from late 2011 until 2013, but she now regrets her radical "tomboy" look and claims it was just a phase.
Asked what her biggest fashion faux pas was, she told France's ELLE magazine: "When I had half of my head shaved. It was my most extreme tomboy phase."
The singer has adopted a sensible eating plan after realising her past attempts to lose weight - including only binging on sugary sweets for a week - were unhealthy.
Ellie said: "Only eating sweets for a whole week. The worst thing was that I actually lost weight, but I would never do it again, it was so unhealthy."
Explaining what she does to stay in shape, the 27-year-old star said: "I run, I do a lot of exercise, and I've stopped eating meat and fish."
Ellie has always had a distinctive sense of style and says her sisters are her biggest rivals when it comes to style.
She quipped: "We would only really fight over clothes."
