We've been treated to plenty of different beauty looks so far in this Awards season and we've noticed a hair trend that's easy to try at home, the deep side part.
This look is incredibly sleek and works so well when paired with a gown that commands attention.
We've seen Emma Watson, Julianna Margulies, Sandra Bullock and Emma Roberts try the look at the Golden Globes. And then at the Critics' Choice Awards Jessica Chastain, Amy Adams and Cate Blanchett opted for the look.
The great thing about this style is you can use it as a base for many different looks.
Emma Watson wore a deep side part with the rest of her hair slicked back into a simple bun, whereas Cate Blanchett at the Golden Globes chose to style the rest of hair into a soft faux bob, then at the Critics' Choice Awards her hair was styled into a sleek straight style.
We also loved Sandra Bullock's look at the Golden Globes, her deep side part was brought into a low ponytail, very simple but very sleek and sophisticated - and definitely not a look we usually expect from the actress.
Newlywed Kaley Cuoco also tried the look at the Golden Globes sweeping her straight locks over the one shoulder.
The best tips we can give for trying this look at home is to blowdry the part in, it'll give it a much stronger hold than trying to move the part once it's been dried. Use a tailed comb to perfect the part and then keep it in place with plenty of hairspray.
Changing your part can make a huge difference to your look, so give it a try and see what you think.
