We love a new nail trend, and the Christopher Kane Spring Summer 14 nail look is something we’re definitely ready to get on board with.
Simple, glossy nude nails that require little effort and look chic. We’re definitely into this beauty trend.
Inspired by book illustrations of botanicals from high-school, the Christopher Kane SS14 collection was a gorgeous but grunge ode to femininity with knife-pleated jacquard skirts, silk floral evening dressing and playful pastel sweatshirts.
Backstage, the Leighton Denny Expert Nails show team created a glossy and groomed, subtle nail look on the model’s hands and feet to compliment the ethereal and super youthful makeup and raw but beautiful hair.
First, models were treated to a mini manicure and pedicure to remove cuticles and neaten the nails.
To capture the healthy, natural look, the team applied two layers of sheer-nude colour in Starkers over Under Cover Base Coat and followed with a coat of the new Crystal Finish, a super-fast drying top coat, to create a super glossy, high-shine effect. A back-stage must have.
A pared-back beauty look that is simple, youthful and timelessly glamorous.
