Christopher Kane may have entered into the world of handbags for AW14, and now the designer is spreading his wings into the beauty industry too.
Christopher Kane has teamed up with Nars cosmetics.
The collaboration was unveiled during the Scottish designer’s Spring/Summer 2015 show at London Fashion Week yesterday, where models were sent down the runway sporting the limited edition collection for the Shesiedo-owned label.
According to Elle.com, the line, entitled The Christopher Kane for NARS Collection - which will feature vibrant eye, lip and cheek colours - is set to be released in stores worldwide in May 2015 and has been described by Christopher, 32, as an "obvious fit".
He said: "NARS has been a long-standing and valued partner of ours, so this collaboration was an obvious fit.
"NARS has the same unapologetic aesthetic that is signature to the Christopher Kane brand and I'm excited to share what we've created together."
NARS makeup artist Lucia Pieroni perfected the models' looks for the show by sweeping the collection's Violet Atom Multiple shade over eyelids, as well as over the cheekbones, nose and lips for a "radiantly gorgeous" but "natural as possible" catwalk look.
To finish, Lucia applied the Pure Radiant Tint Moisturizer and Optimal Brightening Concentrate to add a subtle glow.
He explained to WWD: "Christopher Kane doesn't like a lot of makeup."
