Not only did we love the dress, envy the rear and follow her style now it seems the public wants Pippa Middleton's skin tone too.

A new survey, commisioned for the launch of Freeview channel Really, has revealed that P Middy's glowing tan has been named the most desirable skin tone this summer along with a whole host of other celebrities skin shades.

Over 100 celebrities were studied over a three month period to identify six popular tones favoured by the famous. This list was then put to a public vote view a view to decide the best and worst tans of the year.

Miss Middleton's 'Royal Mocha' stole the show with a staggering 60% of the votes. This was closely followed by Chezza Cole with 36% of the vote. The 'Cole Cappuccino' has been a popular choice for some time now and results show that it still has the X Factor.

The Bleakley Burnished Bronze as seen on Day Break presented Christine Bleakley scored 8% and came in third.

Amy Childs, Katie Price and Kerry Katona took the final three spots on the list, with their tango-ed tans not doing anything for people this year.

As well as highlighting the public's preference for tan shades, the survey also revealed that out of the 2000 women, between the ages of 18 - 44 that took part say they feel better about themselves when they have a tan (71%) and healthier when they are bronzed (69%).

It would seem that today's tan means much more to ladies as it not only leads to pick-me-ups in health but also improves confidence when they're out socialising.

Furthermore the average woman will spend an incredibly £29,400 during their lifetime on their strict summer beauty regime and 1,176 hours getting pampered! 90% of women admitted they would be mortified to wear a bikini without waxing those stray hairs that can make us so body conscious.

Really can be found on sky 248, Virgin 267 and new to freview 20 now!
