Caudalie's co-founders would love Alexa Chung to become their first celebrity face.
The French luxury skincare brand has yet to name a celebrity spokesperson, but would make an exception for the TV personality, who they believe perfectly represents the brand's natural ethos.
Asked which star epitomises British beauty, founder Mathilde Thomas exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Alexa Chung. She has a very British look, the way she dresses, the way she styles her hair, her skin, her big blue eyes. She is beautiful.
"I would love her to [be the face of the brand], we should talk! It's a great idea. At the moment we are concentrating on the wine, that's our model, but maybe we should look at celebrities getting involved in the future."
Caudalie was founded by Mathilde and her husband Bertrand Thomas in 1993 when they had the idea to incorporate the anti-ageing benefits of grape-seed found in their family vineyard in Bordeaux, France, into their eco-friendly cosmetics.
The company have just launched their very first UK boutique in London's Covent Garden due to high-demand, a move that has been two years in the making.
Mathilde added: "People were asking for us to come over to London, since a lot of English people were travelling to our family vineyard.
"At the moment we are focusing on our London store and we are opening a boutique in LA in March 14th and one in Montreal."
The high-end products were certainly a hit with celebrity guests, including model Jodie Kidd and presenter Lisa Snowdon, at the VIP launch on Monday night (10.02.14).
Model-of-the-moment Daisy Lowe admitted to being a huge fan of their bestselling Beauty Elixir spray, which she uses in her daily beauty routine.
