We're continuing our beauty round-up this week, with all the major make-up and hair trends to grace the runway in our very own London town.
While New York gave us high glam fashion and beauty, London as always was all about experimentation and having fun, so here's our top beauty picks from London Fashion Week.
To kick things off we have to mention the Queen of quirk, Luella and her fab childlike looks she sported on the runway. All of her models were given a unique look with which to strut the runway, which ranged from extreme quiffs to elegant quaffed up-dos.
At one point we had Pippy Longstocking style plaits, followed by pink bunches and blonde curly Afros showcased on the models.
But that was nothing compared to the amazing child hair clips she put in one of the models' hair though, as they made us feel all whimsical of days gone by.
PPQ also deserve a mention for their fab hair and beauty looks, rocking smokey eyes and nude lips to perfection on their AW09 runway.
We loved their tribute to 60s pop art, and after featuring plaits in a big way on the runway, we could well be seeing this trend take off towards the end of the year.
Nathan Jenden gave us 80s quiffs and bright pink lipstick on his catwalk, which signals we may be in for another season of bright make-up colours. Hurrah, just the thing to brighten up a dull winter!
Vivienne Westwood's Red Label show gave us red lips and pale skin, which although wasn't strictly groundbreaking, it is wearable on the average lady.
We adored her side chignons and volumised quiffs, which were elegant and sophisticated paired alongside the naughty school girl theme of her AW09 collection.
John Rocha revisited Anne Boleyn with his runway show, featuring huge furry headbands and hats. We particularly liked the ethereal look he was going for, with his models sporting minimal make-up and nude lips.
Agyness Deyn gave use one of the most memorable looks of the season at House of Holland, when she took to the runway with pale skin and black lips.
We absolutely loved this scary look, which was then taken to the extreme by McQueen in Paris, but Henry got it just right with his beauty trend, letting the focus fall to the clothes rather than the OTT make-up.
