Steal the sleek hair of Amanda Seyfried

Steal the sleek hair of Amanda Seyfried

Amanda Seyfried always manages to leave us envious of her locks, they always look so silk smooth and completely nourished.

We want that too.

Ensuring your hair is well nourished is an important part of your beauty routine whether you dye your hair or not, and whether Amanda is stepping out with sleek locks or pretty curls her hair never looks dry.

When shampooing your hair conditioner should always have an appearance, if your hair is a little flyaway try using this every other wash.

Or you could even try the new leave in conditioners that can be used on dry or damp hair, although we have only used ours on damp hair.

Before you put any heat to your hair, whether its tongs, straighteners or a hairdryer you need to ensure your hair has the best protection. We currently love the Liz Earle hair oil which is used on damp hair to nourish the hair and also protect from heat damage too.

One or two pumps goes a long way in our hair, and we can really see and feel the difference this has made.

A weekly hair mask is something that you should definitely treat yourself too as well. We love the Richard Ward Chelsea collection Ultra-Moisturising Treatment which helps to smooth locks and leaves them feeling luscious.

To get this particular hairstyle of Amanda’s we recommend using a volume boosting shampoo and conditioner like the Nurture products which smell amazing too.

And then spraying some volume boost spray at the roots to help give a natural lift, the Clynol hair volumising range is particularly amazing. Try the hair volume treatment mask too for an alternative to the Richard Ward.

Once you’ve dried your hair take a hot hair brush to go through hair in sections and ensure it’s got enough lift, smooth hair cuticles and a slight flick at the ends too.

If you’re not heading out for a while use your fingers to wrap your hair up to your head and create a pin curl to ensure there is some natural bounce to your hair when you take it out.

Finally, lightly spritz the hair with some hairspray, and you’re good to go.
