Victoria Beckham

Seeing as we're now officially in spring, we thought it was high time to introduce you to some new hairstyles for the months ahead.

Some of our favourite celebs have been sporting new do's recently, which we've gone mad for and now it's your turn to experiment with your locks this season.

If you're feeling really brave, why not opt for a short crop for the summer months like Victoria Beckham? Her short pixie do has grown out a tad now and it's more workable for the average lady to copy, plus it's Posh, who wouldn't want to look like her?!

If your hair is long and luscious however, then you're pretty lucky, as you can try all manner of different styles this summer. Make like Nicole Richie and sample boho waves for a sexy beach look, or opt for super sleek hair like the gorgeous Jennifer Aniston.

Up-do's have become something of a classic choice for awards ceremonies and film premieres among our fave celebs, so why not try an elegant ponytail like Emily Blunt, or a messy chignon like Kate Winslet sported at the Oscars this year?

Katie Holmes and Eva Longoria both popularised hair extensions recently, so if you fancy adding some length to your hair why not try the cheaper option of clip-in extensions?

Drew Barrymore gave us a master class in old world Hollywood glamour last night with her 20s flapper hair, forecasting a big trend for the demi-wave look this summer.

This kind of style is easier to work on short to mid-length hair, as you can get a more credible wave, whereas if your hair was longer, it may not hold as well.

Lastly, we're championing plaits for the summer, as sported by Sienna Miller and our new style crush, Drew. The Heidi mountain girl look involves plaiting one strand of your hair and folding it over your scalp to create a hairband effect.

If you're too lazy for that or simply don't have enough hair to work this trend, then invest in a pre-plaited piece of hair and fix in place like a headband.
