Victoria Beckham for Numéro

Victoria Beckham for Numéro

Victoria Beckham has once again started a trend with her, everyone remembers The Pob, don't they?

This time, she's seen sporting a fringe on the cover of Numero Tokyo.

Her first magazine shoot since the birth of her daughter, Harper and it has to be said that the mother-of-four has never looked better.

There was much speculation surrounding the new 'do and whether or not she had actually got the chop, but it's been confirmed that it was created by hair supremo Neil Moodie.

And now we have the stylist himself of Windle & Moodie to give his step-by-step 'how-to' on recreating this fabulous fringed look at home using the Speed Fringe Weft from Windle & moodie:

  • Prepare your own hair by spritzing with Bumble and Bumble Prep Spray and Thickening Hairspray. Layer on some Bumble and Bumble Styling Creme to help give texture.
  • Speed dry your hair tipping your head upside down using the WAM Ionic Dryer. Allow hair to fall into a natural parting and brush through with a flat bristle brush to drying to slightly smooth the ends.
  • When the hair has dried, brush out any excess product.
  • Match up a colour to your own with the Windle& Moodie Speed Fringe. Spritz the weft with Bumble and Bumble Prep Spray and Surf Spray. Dry these products into the hair using WAM Ionic dryer on the medium heat.
  • Take a WAM Digital Straightening Iron at 170 degress and smooth out any stray hairs.
  • Apply the Windle & Moodie Speed Fringe onto your head as shown in the packaging. - Use the clear wire to wind it round your head. Having a helping hand may help to make the process a little easier.
  • Cut the edges of Speed Fringe into a soft blunt arched shape by using a Hair Razor, so it just sits just below your eyebrows, leaving the outer edges a little longer.
  • Ideally, you should get your hair stylist to do this for you. But for DIY, measure approx where the point of below your eyebrow is, then point cut with a pair of scissors. (This is where you cut upwards into the hair instead of straight across, so you don't get a blunt line).
  • Finish styling as desired.

When you first look at the Fringe Speed Weft you'll feel a little apprenhensive about putting it one, it just takes a little patience and once in it looks natural. You've now got a fringe without the commital of opting for the chop.

Available from all Windle & Moodie Salons and online at windleandmoodie.com, £25 (6") comes in 8 colours.
