Spring Beauty is all fresh and natural looking
The Christmas period may have just started but there is no excuse not to be ready for next season and be one step ahead when it comes to Spring beauty.
Models strutted down the runways at the SS09 shows with pared down fresh faces. Either eyes or lips were strong, but teamed with bare cheeks to emphasise the focal point.
Hair, as a rule was tied in loose buns so that it was sleek but slightly messy at the same time.
The models at Zero Maria Cornejo wore only deep blue eyeshadow, no foundation and no blusher. The eyeshadow went on in triangular shapes giving the look a retro '80s feel.
BCBG Max Azria's models had a very earthy look, with brown eyeshadow and gold-green pencil smudged on the lower lids. To give a natural look lashes and lips were left bare.
We don't know if we could handle going without mascara but we'll definitely be trying some of next seasons looks early.
