"This year in particular, we have seen an increase in the number of women requestion creative 'hair up' styles. The braid is a favourite for women who want a glamorous look with a modern twist.

Now, to create your plait, begin at the nape of the neck.
When plaiting the hair ensure that each section that is added to the plait is pulled underneath.

To 'fatten' the plait, you could also rub sections with your thumb and fingers, pinching it to give it more texture and a more 'unstructured' finish.
